U.S. Flood Hazard Areas Spatial Query FEMA

This service helps determine the relative flood risk of a specific location in the United States. The FEMA Q3 Flood Data is currently available for approximately 1,200 counties across the United States. This service helps identify whether a specific location falls in or near a Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA). This flood area, which is also referred to as the 100-year flood (or base flood), is the national standard on which the floodplain management and insurance requirements of the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) are based.
